I've just bought a new selectabase 3 off ebay (£4.00) :D ,the software that comes with it refers to windows 95, I'm running windows 98SE will I have any problems? also is there a limit to the size of the hard disk I can fit in the IDE drive bay? I found this, http://kb.iu.edu/data/ajgd.html but I must have put a extra space in somewhere, as I still get 'invalid system disk' error message when I fit the cd drive back in.

Had it working but messed it up!
I had my TP 760E working fine with windows 98SE, but after messing about with audio drivers, I was getting a error message at startup - so I formatted my hard drive & now can't get the windows 98 cd to boot & install. I did this when I bought the 760E,(last week) but must be doing something wrong. I...

Thanks, it's 74mb, so it looks like I'm about at the memory max, this should be alright for windows 98SE. I've seen a keyboard on ebay for £1.00, so I may buy that, the Danish keyboard has some of the letters in different places, difficult to use as you have to look at the keys :( Thanks for your help

I have just bought a thinkpad 760e, but it has a Danish keyboard
can I just fit a English one in its place? are the keyboards the same fitting for this series of thinkpad?
Also what is the max memory I can fit (I'll be installing windows 98SE)
