X60 Tablet Multitouch Screen: how many "touches"?
I'm having trouble finding out if my multitouch screen can detect multiple touches at once. I currently have XP installed, but would like to know if my X60 Tablet can utilize Windows 7 multitouch gestures. Thanks for any help!

Warranty Questions
I have an X60 Tablet MT/MV that I received in January/February of 2007. The laptop has been fine other than some really dumb warranty support between August and September 2007. My latch broke and when I got it replaced the LCD bezel came back put together poorly causing a horrible yellow tinge on a ...

Re: Damaged tablet
However, I have read several threads that claim that their thinkpad, after repair, came back in worse shape. What are some recommendations so that I can reduce this scenario? I am unfortunately in this group. I don't think there is anything you can really do about it, though. I sent my tablet in to...

Question for X60T MultiTouch owners
I sent back my X60T in the first week of August to get the latch fixed. I received it three weeks later and not only was the latch not fixed, but they messed with the LCD and there is now yellow backlight bleeding if any pressure is put on the lcd. I would like to confirm that my X60T was damaged wh...

In my opinion, if Lenovo does anything short of shipping me a new machine that does not have this problem, they have fallen down on the job. If they expect me to give up my machine for over a week, while someone hacks away on an obvious design blunder, then they are fools. I will dump this machine ...

Snip Once again,. Like I said, the type of ram for desktops may be more important, but for laptops I'm willing to bet 99% of the time you won't see any problems using the cheaper ram, or any difference in real-world performance. You act as if thinkpads were made for performance, and I'm ...

It is listed as Micron chips (supposedly the best chips out there), so I wouldn't be worried about getting bad RAM.

Acrobat Professional has a "pencil tool" that you can use with a mouse that I'm sure would work with the digitizer acting like a mouse. My friend has an X60T with the multi-touch screen and he has no problem using his finger with it. I don't have a problem with it either (I usually use my finger nail for hitting the small buttons). Vista is shipping now on the X60 tablet. Oddly enough, it's $20 cheaper to use Vista over Windows XP. Hmm, I wonder if it is cheaper so that they don't have people use the "upgrade" thing afterwards, thereby saving them money. I think it costs $10 due to shipping to get vista through the upgrade pr...
