Hi All, I have purchased an IBM A31 ( a 2652 DXG ) from my company. And I have the same problem with regards the system not being recognised by the 'auto detect' & 'software updater' tools. I checked with our IT department and the motherboard of the machine was apparantly swapped out about 18 months...
