thats ur problem then. see the a22m uses a xga 15 inch lcd where the a22p uses a uxga 15 inch lcd. really there are only two ways to fix it one is to replace the screen with an uxga screen or get the right motherboard the one with the 8 mb ati card. thats also why it works find on an external displa...

i don't about r40s as i have never worked with one. but the guy ur talking to i have bought stuff off him before and he seem to know what he was talking about when i ask him about stuff i bought before. i bought a system board and some other stuff for my a22m and he was a good seller.

in intnert explorer i found out that it seem to be shockwave player making thing buzz with shockwave unintalled buzz goes away totaly. but other thing stuff make this buzzing happen.

ok here is something werid if i got in the power options and put it on always on it buzzs but if i change it to portalbe laptop no buzzing. anyone have any ideas

if i boot in safe mode with network support and open ie to msn.com no buzzing happens also when i first boot up if i open ie right away it don't buzz a first it start to buzz after being open like 5-10 sec but after that it will happen right as soon as ie is opened to msn.com

i did buy another one off ebay that said it was new and had the same thing after using it for like a month or so and i know its not the pin.

whats with the ac adaptors the the plugs into the laptop always get lose in side and then they it will just come out very easly or just moving it can stop it from working. is there a model made by ibm or a 3rd party ac adaptor that is better one that will lock in and not come lose.

check the settings in the bios mabey there is somthing in there to set the usb speed or check the drivers on thinkpad site mabey theres a usb dirver update

i will also trade the parts for a battie for an a30 thinkpad must be a new one don't care if its oem or offical ibm one
