eCS 2.1 on a T60

#1 Post by Ted_E » Fri Aug 17, 2012 2:34 pm

I'm running eCS 2.1 0n a T-60 model 2623-K8U with 2GB ram and a 500GB WD HDD.. I shrank the XP partition to 20GB and installed eCS 2.1 in a 1GB partition while retaining the installation of eCS 2.0 also in a 1GB partition. (I believe it is a very bad practice to try to back up a running OS using itself.)

I am exceedingly pleased with the result. Everything there that I have used works well. Things still lacking that I would like are USB 3, BlueTooth and Flash player.

It has been a few months since I had cause to boot 'doze.
