Hi, I'm looking for a Lenovo / IBM branded Intel 6300 with compatible FRU 60Y3233 or other compatible FRU (???) for the X220i.

Not sure if it was a good price or not, but I purchased this one off eBay, put it in my T410i, and it started right up.

It gets 450mpbs in the same room as my Cisco router, and gets between 150 and 330mbps depending on which room I am in upstairs away from the router.

This is FRU 60Y3193 for many of the older models - still uncertain about the compatibility with newer X220i which asks for a different FRU, though? Does it just need Lenovo branding or do the FRUs also have to match?

Thanks, that's a helpful thread. I've tried to search extensively, and this Lenovo community thread disagrees with that thread:

HLG600's post also reports back that it didn't work for them, even though they purchased through the same seller.

This is really a lottery, I think, and the listing never claims compatibility ..

I appreciate the help, in any case. I'll try contacting the seller and will probably purchase the older FRU.
