SOLD: W700DS for sale

I have a thinkpad w700ds in perfect condition. It was a demo model and used very lightly. I just got it this week, thinking I'd replace my other w700 with my dream laptop that I had always wanted. Unfortunately, the video card only supports two displays and I couldn't use my other 24" LCD with the laptop and the pop out screen, nor could I figure out how to rotate the pop out screen in linux. I couldn't configure the digitizer properly in linux either. I know someone out there could make much better use of this than I could, so I'm hoping someone out there can give this guy a better life.

I'm asking $1400.

For what it's worth, you might check previous posts or start a new thread on how to use an external monitor with a DS model. I'd guess there's a way to make the video card work, but it could be tricky doing so.

Another method that'd likely work would be using an external video card via the ViDock. Lots of material on this board about that route.

'course, this depends upon whether you'd really want to keep your W700DS or not...
