Very nice upgrades.

The 3rd antenna on the T60 requires the bulge on the side, am I correct? Do you know of any practical performance differences in using the ABGN card with only two antennas?

Yes, and the third antenna can be added to any T60 lid, the Lenovo solution is a plastic bulge on the right side of the LCD lid. I suppose aftermarket antennas could be used, too. However, I've used this model N adapter with T60's and Z61m's that have had just two antennas and I'm not sure what I was missing. It certainly hooked up at N speeds and the strength was great. Perhaps you have even greater range with three antennas?

With many of the cards that I've seen, a third antenna allows for better performance in environments with a lot of RF noise (and for better throughput at a greater distance.)
