All that's needed is to add display, battery, hard disk, RAM , everything else is there already(DVDRW, wi-fi card etc) ?

Will 08/08 board+case work with a WUXGA LCD from a T61P (6460-A27) ?

My main problem is to find a reliable guy in Bangkok who knows Thinkpads well , to assemble it for me <grin>

You would need to transfer your optical drive, wifi, as well as your cpu and heatsink from your old system, but if you want this, I could get it pulled and ship it tomorrow with your other system. It probably wouldn't be a bad idea to grab it now, as I don't know if I will be able to get more of these when they're all gone.

Sorry Johan, I updated/bumped exactly 5, the 6th was bumped by someone else but it's not currently active so I labeled it as "pending". I could lock that thread if you like, but I was hoping to offer more of them in the future and reactivate the thread.
