I have a question:

I have used a T40p since 2005 and a T43p since 2007 and they all still run 100 %. Some white spots on the LCDs and the occasional dead pixel but no issues otherwise...

Does the T40p offered for sale in this thread suffer from the above-mentioned defects? (by the way, the "occational dead pixel" could be the well-known "middle Ultranav Scrolling pixel" - see e.g. the thread How to get rid of the little white pixel that occas shows up).

You may want to share a few more details of the ThinkPad's offered for sale here, such as cosmetic condition, performance of battery (how many cycles, how long it will work etc.).
