SOLD to forum member: Near mint T60p with great specifications.

*Image removed*

Only very minor visable wear on corners of cover. Everything else is near flawless, the keyboard is brand new. One of the best SXGA+ LCD's I've seen. The battery is in excellent condition, too. This is probably the best balance of power and cooling - the ATI V5250 video chipset and the Intel Core 2 Duo T7200 2.0GHz processor. Just a beautiful, fast and quiet T60p.

Can I pull the 250GB hitachi hard drive from my T60 2007-46U, change GPU, display, and wireless drivers, put it in and be good to go? This drive was loaded from a set of T60 recovery discs for Windows XP pro. Or does the T60p have more differences? I really like my T60 14" 4:3 machine, I just wish it was a bit faster sometimes!

Yes, you can just swap the drive. Make sure you shut down first (not hibernate), then just swap the drives. You already have an ATI GPU, so the video driver is the same. The higher resolution LCD will auto-adjust.

You'll have to download and install the IBM wireless Ethernet driver for the IBM/Atheros N adapter from Lenovo, since you have the Intel adapter in your model. You can download it before the swap, if you'd like, or just do it via the wired Ethernet after the swap.
