Feeler: physically mint electrically dead T22 2647-8EU

Hi,

I have my hands on a T22 2647-8EU and I'm wondering if someone here would be interested.

The casing is in physically brand new condition. Two small glue marks on top of the top cover. Mint bottom cover complete with unworn Windows 2000 Professional COA. Mint palmrest with Pentium III and Win2k/Win98 stickers. Zero wear on the keyboard and when opened up it still has a bit of the new laptop smell. It doesn't look like it was used for more than a day. All covers are in place; two screws are missing, one for hard drive cover and one for locking the DVD drive.

I have some reason to believe the laptop was powered up with a 25 V scanner power supply because the barrel matched. I have been able to get it to BIOS once but not consistently. Please consider it electrically DOA. I recall the screen looked fine the one time I got it to BIOS but again, zero guarantees.

There is no hard drive. There is one 128 MB RAM stick, condition unknown. There is a battery, condition unknown.

I don't have pictures right now but if anyone is really interested I can try taking some tomorrow morning.

I'm looking to give it away to a good home rather than have it collect dust here. I would appreciate if you can cover the actual cost of shipping. If you have guts of a T22 or compatible that need a new housing for your just-like-2001 project, this might be a match. The catch is I'm in the middle of moving so I'd have to hear about the interest preferably by tomorrow evening, and I might not be able to send it off until a couple of weeks from now.

Bumping this from the dead! Due to combination of things, mainly my forgetfulness, I still have this.

Of course, I'm moving again, and so this can be picked up in Vancouver, BC until end of day Wednesday the 29th, or shipped from Ontario beginning on Monday.
