SOLD to forum member: Complete 14" 4:3 High Resolution SXGA+ LCD T60 in very good condition with good specifications; T2500 2.0GHz Core Duo processor, Bluetooth, upgraded RAM & larger drive.

* Image removed *

This machine is in very good condition, with slight cover wear and moderate keyboard/touchpad shine. The high-resolution LCD is bright with one eraser-tip size rub mark from contact with the keyboard. The LCD also has a few light grey specks toward the bottom of the display. These are hard to see except on very light screen colors. The hinges are in good condition. The battery is in good condition. It works perfectly and the plastics, cover and base are all in very good to excellent cosmetic condition (no cracks at all). There is a third antenna present, since I upgraded the LCD assembly from XGA to SXGA+ with a WWAN antenna.

Many more pictures (note the cursor is pointing to the worst of the few grey specks) --> * Image Link Removed *

This model has the Intel integrated video chipset (vs. the ATI), so it runs cool and quiet. As with all T60's, this can be upgraded with Core 2 Duo CPUs up to the T7600, if desired. Overall, this is a nice, complete T60.

Reduced to $179 delivered in the U.S. PayPal, USPS money order or cash accepted.

Would you please answer a few questions?

1. How long ago did you replace the LCD?
2. How close to new does the keyboard feel?
3. Is there an operating system currently installed and is there a license on the computer? (I would like to clarify what you mean by "no COA.")

Thanks.

Hello & welcome to the forum.

(I PM'd you more details, but here's the short version.)

I didn't mean to indicate that the LCD was new, just that I swapped it from another T60, actually a T60p. The LCD is bright, so I have no reason to think it's not in good shape or won't last a lot longer.

The keyboard feels as good as new. The only real issue with the T60 (and newer) keyboards is that they get shiny more quickly than older keyboards, like the T42 keyboard.

There is no COA on the bottom because this 1952-CTO actually came with a DOS license, not XP. It will run Ubuntu, XP, Vista or Win 7 (and DOS) quite well, but none are included as advertised.

I have a similar 14" T60 (the T60 1951-CTO in my signature) and I LOVE IT! I have upgraded the ram to 3gb and the HDD to a 128gb SSD, and installed W7(home premium) -- Even without my added upgrades, the 14" T60 is a beautiful and snappy machine -- it compares very favorably with my T410 in both looks and performance. Underclocker, your pricing on this machine makes it VERY tempting -- my personal opinion is anyone who receives this beauty will be more than pleased! :)

Hello,
Is the Intel integrated video chipset powerful enough to run aero on windows 7?

Thanks,

Thanks for the reply ; I would like to purchase your T60 if it's still available (I already sent you a PM).
