Looking to Buy (WTB) : IBM Thinkpad TransNote

#1 Post by Polarfizz » Sun Jan 29, 2012 2:23 am

I know it's rare but I really want a Thinkpad TransNote. It's just associated with so many important memories...
I will buy off ebay using paypal, just makes the process easier.

when you get your transnote, please note:
i have a couple of new (old stock) transnote batteries and a box of transnote specific notepads..
(i keep finding more NOS stuff while collecting all the 701C's and related parts)

welcome to the forum..

IMB sold out all new transnotes many years ago when it became obvious that they were not selling as fast as planned..
according to a new york based IMB'er (retired) they were botching the sales job..

so finding a new one is highly unlikely..

i think they sold them all to retailers who sold them for $500 to $1000..
