I have an X300 laptop that is complete except the hard-drive (HD cover is there). It's not under warranty and hasn't been tested - but appears to be fine. It boots into BIOS, boots into Linux (looks nice), the mouse, audio, LCD all appear to work fine. I didn't test much else. I'm selling it AS-IS .. I don't have the HDrive or time to test it completely.

The bad news:
- There is no hard-drive and no OS installed on the system
- The latch spring seems to be broken as you have to manually push it to the left to latch the lid
- The left mouse button is scored - possible so the fingers can tell the difference between it and the right button. The button clicks and operates like it should.

UNTESTED:
- Networking (though the lights light when I connect the LAN cable)
- USB ports (though I booted off of Linux on one)
- Optical drive

The GOOD news:
The system is complete and seems to operate as designed ..
The battery is GREEN
There is no more bad news

SL7100(1.2GHz), 2GB RAM, No HDisk, 13.3in 1440x900 LCD, Intel X3100, CDRW/DVDRW, Intel 802.11agn wireless, Bluetooth, 1Gb Ethernet, UltraNav, Secure chip, Fingerprint reader, Camera, 3c Li-Poly, WinXP Pro

I almost called Bob last night to claim it - but seeing as I am just now getting warmed up to my very clean X61 I bought from him last year, I really did not need this.

Good luck - though none is needed when working with Bob on a sale!

Thanks for all the comments on this system. I'm thinking I probably priced it too low .. but I got it fairly cheap as well. This will probably be sold to the second in line by the time you read this post.
