I recently replaced the fan/heatsink unit on my T61. Now I've got an old Lenovo P/N 42W2463 | FRU P/N 42W2462 on my hands. If I had known better, I would have just bought an inexpensive fan (which appears to be easily replaceable) rather than the whole unit (i.e., fan + copper heat pipe assembly). I'm wondering if this is of any use to anyone. 
It seems a shame to toss it... I'm heading back to Canada in a few weeks, so could arrange delivery when I arrive. Let me know if you're interested.
[In case anyone is interested, the ol' T61 with nVidia 140M is running at 50*C in the tropics. Not bad, I'd say.]
