LF: UXGA or SXGA flexview for R60

I had posted a thread regarding my area of studies and a compatible laptop. I'm thinking that perhaps the financially feasible thing to do would be sticking with a 4:3 screen for the moment and going with a higher res screen. Is there anyone who may have plans of selling a UXGA Boe-Hydis or even an SXGA LG-Phillips flexview screen? I love my R60 but the XGA just annoys me to no end! I don't have a lot of cash but I'm hoping I can do something like a layaway type of deal if possible. I'd put some money in and put in more until I pay the balance in full and then would receive the screen. TIA.

Have a complete lid assembly from a R50 SXGA+ Flexview. So it has antenna and hings and everything else. The screen is in good shape, I have not used it since the motherboard died. Its not perfection.
40 dollars shipped.
I am not an expert on the inverter and whether you need to flash something to get it to work or not on your application.

FYI, the R50 LCD panel does not have an EDID chip that a R60 must have to work.

I thought when I looked up the in Everest that it was the same panel part number as a T60.
So are you saying that R50/51 Flexview will only working in same, or can this Flexview be used in other models, like a T42/T43 or a T60.
Thanks for any info

That panel will work in T42/43 out of the box, but not in T60/R60 because of the whitelist in BIOS.

Going to bump this WTB thread again. Still would like to set up an installment plan for an SXGA Flexview. Must be bright and present no scratches. I am not sure if an inverter is needed when transplanting a higher resolution Flexview into an XGA R60 so if you have one perhaps you could include it also. Thanks

You'll need an inverter either way, but the one from your XGA R60 will work just fine.
