Parts wanted: Laundry list for T43

I have a few upgrades I'd like to do on a T43 1872 J13.

HD drive 160gb or better 7200rpm?

DVD RW

Ram memory from 1 gb (2 512's) to 2gb

9 cell battery new if possible

The little RED button that goes into the middle of the KB1

and one of those PATA HD drive caddys that goes into the CD/DVD slot

The largest PATA laptop drive that runs at 7200rpm was 100GB.

If you want to go bigger than that, you'll have to settle for 5400rpm.

My suggestion - as for the Ultrabay hard drive carrier - would be to get a SATA one since then you can really go hogwild with the storage, as in 750GB etc.

Try posting a WTB (want to buy) ad in the forum's Marketplace and see what that yields for you.

You gotta be careful with promises like that...I'm close enough to Philly to actually take you up on it...

And those who know me will tell you that I can eat... ...and eat...and eat...as long as it's cheese and/or meat...

I see albrightsville is only 90 miles away, and just to let you know, a Linda Keurth(the current champion last i was there) ate 11 1/2 complete cheese steaks in 1/2 hour. So Jim's can handle the load, question is I guess will my ATM card ! 8^)

If you are interested I have 2x1GB PC5300 sodimms I can let go for $22 shipped. I also have a Hitachi 60GB 7200rpm PATA drive left over. I wasn't planning to get rid of it but if you make me an offer I can't refuse I just might do that.

the ram sounds good but i got a 60 gig now and its almost full, was looking for a 160gb or better or a 100gb 7200 rpm
