Known issues:
Screen has smudges on the surface that don’t seem to come off, but picture is bright and no dead pixels visible to my eyes.

BIOS disable memory check won’t work [system RAM and Extended RAM ARE CHECKED EACH BOOT, BIOS out-of-date?].

Right side lid latch is missing, left side works.

The last time it was used, the BSOD appeared. The drive was wiped in another machine to clear old files.


Battery condition unknown.

Comes with AC adapter

2 Mb RAM

12 GB hard drive [recognized in BIOS, formatted and blank]

Comes with two extra hard drives; 40G and 10G of unknown condition [not recognized via USB connection].

It will be mailed USPS Priority Flat Rate to any US ZIP Code for a total of $25.00. If it isn’t worth that much to anyone; it goes to E-recycle.

Neil went for it. I knew it. Hey Neil, I saw this one when there were like 3 views and almost went for it, but said, "Let someone else take it. Won't last long." Got too much work on my hands already. This is a great fixer-upper at a great price. Update the BIOS, fix the latch, check RAM issue, maybe change the LCD and you're in business.
