I have just replaced mine with one from Ebay. It was less than GBP 20 (and probably USD 20) shipped from Hong Kong to UK.

I can send you old card if you want to experiment with it, but it could be faulty.

I had ordered what I was told was an Intel 5300 from someone in another forum. What I got in the mail was a stinking Broadcom card

Waiting on his reimbursement.

In the meantime I decided to go with a cheaper alternative and get an Intel 5100. I have one in my X200 and it does the job well.
