All items have been sold
Take it all for the cost of shipping. I have absolutely no use for any of the components and I'd rather not send perfectly good hardware to the recyclers. If anyone is interested the whole lot is yours for the cost of a flat rate USPS priority mail box.
Well my T23 has finally given up the ghost, no sense in getting it back up and running since it's 10 years old. My loss is your gain.
Full disclosure: The motherboard has failed on the T23, I have no way to test the remaining components to guarantee that they work. With that said, when I did manage to get the system to boot up one last time I was able to reinstall Mint and get the system back up and running again for a couple of hours before it fully failed. During that time I ran memtest86+ and the memory passed without error. Again, I currently have no way to test/fully verify all components are in full working order and everything is being sold AS-IS.
***All prices include shipping via USPS First Class Mail, upgrade to Priority Mail for $2.00***
Did some testing, here's what I know works:
T2x series battery. Purchased as "New Old Stock" a couple years ago. Has about an hour or so of runtime left to it. $12.00
NEC ND-6650a DVD-RW. The faceplate of the drive has been modified to fit flush in the Ultrabay. The drive itself has been flashed with Liggy & Dee's region free firmware. $13.00
T2x series keyboard. Keys have very little wear, some marks on the clearplate. Thailand made. $8.00
Atheros AR5212 A/B/G Mini-PCI wireless card. Used without issue after whitelisting the BIOS. $6.00
What I can't test/verify working:
T2x series SXGA+ LCD with lid, bezel and internal factory wireless antennas. $25.00 Yep, full OEM drop in SXGA+ display with internal IBM factory wifi antennas.
The good: Very bright backlight for a panel of it's age.
The bad: There are a few marks on the screen, mostly from the keyboard. Also there are several stuck pixels in the display. The bezel is also cracked in the upper left hand corner and the lid is cracked dead center in front of the ultraport. Unfortunately the laptop was knocked onto the floor by a pain the [censored] cat of ours. Just cosmetic damage, functions just fine.
Shoot me a PM with what you're interested in and hopefully my dead system can breath some life into your system.
Alternatively, I'm looking for 1GB PC2700 DDR1 SoDIMMs. I'll gladly make a trade for them.
Sold items:
1GB (2x512MB) PC133 SoDIMMs. Passed memtest86+ fine on one of the last bootups I could get from the system. $14.00
