These Batteries are Original Lenovo 6cell (extended) that shipped with T400 computers and were never installed. They will work in...

T400/R400, T61/R61 with 14.1" widescreen.



I have a few of these to offer, asking only $49 plus shipping ($6 domestic $20 international (most countries)* for 1-3 units.

***Note: International shipping via USPS is no longer available so I will need to look into other options***


These are Original T400 batteries that were never installed in the computer when purchased. These came from the IT dept of a large corporation when their T400 systems were liquidated. These are a rare find and have the desireable Panasonic cells and all showed Zero cycles when tested.

I also have a few used ones that I'll list when I've had time to fully test them and list their condition.

Here's an opportunity to get a new battery for less then 1/3rd what they sell for new from Lenovo, so why buy a cheap generic, or even a more expensive lenovo replacement with sanyo cells when you can have an original with panasonic cells.

note: during charging/testing some of the units have changed from cycle count of 0 to 1.

FYI, there were 4 cell, 6 cell, 7 cell & 9 cell battery options from Lenovo for those models.

56.16Wh corresponds to the 6 cell offering, not the 9 cell (please correct ad).

Thank You!!! it seems I found some bad information when I looked these up, so just to be clear these are the extended batteries, not the small ones and they are originals that shipped with the laptops.

If anyone has any questions, the FRU number is listed so you can look it up.

So far only UPS has confirmed they will accept shipment of lithium ion batteries from 7.2 to 100whr (these batteries are 56whr), They will ship upto two batteries per package but only if shipped as expedited air freight which is dramatically more expensive then the rates charged by usps before the ban.

Yes, these are original T400 batteries that were never installed in the new computers. The originals had panasonic cells and are most desirable, definitely a rare find. All are tested and a great deal at $50.

I believe there are at least 3 still available and I also have some used ones if interested.
