SOLD: Have a Samsung SLC SSD 64GB that includes a 2.5" carrier I bought from Lenovo (FRU 42W7888). Was using in a X60 tablet for about two years that I'd take to mtgs at work - not my main system so not sure it was used much during that period. Model number is MCCOE64G8MPP-0VA - it is the micro-SATA 1.8" size. Has been sitting idle for the last 6 months due to upgrading to a larger drive in a W520. It is running great, never had an trouble with it - it was much faster than the 5400 rpm drive it replace but not especially fast in the X60 but they are limited to SATA I (1.5 Gbps).
I had thought this came out of a X300 ThinkPad but looking I don't see a Lenovo FRU label on it. It is supported by the Lenovo firmware update utility (although I've never needed to update the firmware): http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/detail. ... MIGR-69806 so it seems to be compatible.
There is a review of it posted here: http://forum.notebookreview.com/lenovo- ... harts.html and you can see a photo of the drive there although the lenovo carrier I have doesn't have any exposed circuit board like the one in the review. The Lenovo carrier has the rubber bumpers built into it (why you need bumpers for a SSD is beyond me) so it slides right into a drive bay.
One person below asked for a detailed datasheet - here's the most detailed one I could find in English: http://www.icebergtechnology.com/ddd/NS ... _1%202.pdf
Looking to get $45 plus actual shipping but will to entertain offers. Shipping US/Canada only, pay via Paypal ok.
UPDATE: my apologies for the lack of info - will update the ad with the requested info shortly.
UPDATE 2: have fixed the URL to the datasheet. Not sure on the TRIM support under Windows 7 (which is what I ran on it).
