The workroom cleanup continues...
I'll never get to these two guys, so I'm offering them here first, in hopes that someone will have the time that I'm sorely lacking to get them to become what they should be...
unit # 1 : 2653-H4U
P4-M 1.7GHz (512KB), 512MB RAM, 15.0 UXGA(1600x1200) TFT LCD, 8x4x24x/8x CD-RW/DVD, Modem(CDC), Ethernet(CDC), IEEE 1394, TV out, Li-Ion battery, Win2000 COA - on hold
unit # 2: 2654-MU3
Based on 2653-R3U: P4-M 2.0GHz, 512MB RAM, 15.0 UXGA(1600x1200) TFT LCD, 16x10x24x/8x CD-RW/DVD, Modem(CDC), Ethernet(CDC), Secure Chip, IEEE 1394, Li-Ion battery, WinXP Pro COA
None of these will come with a hard drive (caddy and cover will be included) or AC adapter.
Physically, both of them are in fine condition for units of this vintage, will boot and load OS with no problems, be it from hard or media drive. I haven't been able to detect any GPU issues on either of them, however:
a) Both of the LCDs are red on cold boot. One clears really fast, the other one takes a while.
b) Charging circuits on both units have issues. Consider these to be inexpensive desktop replacements (at best) unless you're up for board-level repair.
PM or email me directly to tataslonATaol.com with any questions/concerns.
