Hi Guys/Girls,
I am selling most of my ThinkPads and this one I purchased in May of this year and it's been collecting dust as most of my collection is doing.
I am asking $400 which includes shipping via FedEx Ground and insurance. Payment via PayPal.
Type: 4058-CTO 09/09 It has the COA sticker on the bottom and it is readable.
Here is the information I gathered today since it is a CTO machine.
Screen Resolution: 1920x1200 Screen Size: 15.4 Inches
CPU: T9900 3.06 GHz 6 MB Cache Core2Duo Penryn
Battery: Sanyo 192 Cycle Count Full Charge Capacity: 63.03 Wh Design Capacity 84.24 First Used Date: 2009-09
Disks: 3 Recovery DVDs from Lenovo, 2 Windows 7 Professional 64-bit Upgrade Disks from Lenovo
RAM: 4 GB Dual-Channel DDR3@532MHz (7-7-7-20)
Motherboard: GM45/GM47 Chipset
Bios: Version 6FET92WW (3.22)
Graphics: ATI Mobility FireGL V5700 (512 MB) and Mobile Intel 4 Series Express Chipset Family. From reading the w5xx
forums I believe this machine has switchable graphics because it was a CTO machine.
Hard Drive: 200 GB Hitachi SATA-1 1.5Gb/s
DVD Drive: DVD Writer Matshita UJ862AC
Wireless: Intel WiFi Link 5300 AGN
Ethernet: Intel 82567 Gigabit
Bluetooth (I don’t know what the version is), Integrated Camera (I don’t know what the resolution is)
The above information was gathered by using the program recommended to me by ThinkPad Lover (Daniel) called Speccy made by Piriform (which makes CCleaner).
Genuine Lenovo 90W 20V AC Adapter
Fingerprint reader
3 USB Ports (I am not sure if they are 1.1 or 2.0 ports)
1 Display Port (I am not sure if the port is a full one or a mini one)
1 Modem
I have printed out and spiral bound the W500 (T500) Hardware Manual with a clear cover and black back.
I will use the recovery disks to re-install Vista, then use the upgrade disk to install Win7 Professional 64-bit.
The spacebar has no wear on it. The left button (on the track pad) is worn and the right button (on the track pad) a tiny bit worn. There is a very faint vertical line on the left side of the keyboard bezel about 4” long. There is another faint line (horizontal) going across the track pad area, about 2 inches left of the left button of the track pad, and about 2-3 inches right of the right button of the tack pad. The keyboard is clean, there are not worn keys. There are three vertical scratches (3” inches) in the middle, near the battery on the lid, there are four diagonal scratches near the vertical scratches. There are various other smaller scratches around the lid. Also it looks like someone sneezed (various of times) on the lid since there are small circle spots on the lid.
Let me indicate that the scrathes are like if took your fingernail and ran it across the lid.
Thank you for looking at my machine.
John
