Custom T43p
Based on 2668-CTO:
P M 760(2.0GHz)
2GB RAM
160GB 7200rpm *SATA* HD (brand new WD)
15in 1600x1200 LCD
128MB ATI FireGL V3200
CDRW/DVDRW
IBM (Atheros) b/g Wireless
Bluetooth/Modem
1Gb Ethernet
UltraNav
Secure chip
6c Li-Ion batt in "green"
WinXP Pro COA
Modded BIOS
One fabulous custom build (no one ever accused silly old me of false modesty) that holds the fort very well given its age. Runs W7 like a champ. Very cool-running and quiet machine by T43p standards.
If there's anyone less-than-familiar with SATA-mod that was applied to this fine ThinkPad, please click on the link in my signature...
Expect normal wear for a ThinkPad of this era. There's a small piece of plastic chipped off the base under the VGA port (I don't know what's up with that - this must be the twentieth 15" T4x that I've seen over the past year with this issue in the very same spot) which affects nothing when it comes to functionality (no damage to the frame) but it's there and should be accounted for.
And yes, this is another one from " Assembled in the U.S. from U.S. and non-U.S. components for Lenovo " range. We can now add that it was "modded in the U.S. by non-U.S. subjects" as well...
As for the T40p clear plate shown in the pictures...let's just say that the previous owner has a peculiar sense of humour. You'll receive the machine with the proper T43p plate...
Cash, personal cheque, USPS/Canada Post money order, Western Union and MoneyBookers accepted as payment methods. No PreyPal.
PM or email me directly to tataslonATaol.com with any questions/concerns.
