I've not posted much, but for the past 4 years I've been all over this board. What a great asset for Thinkpad owners. And I have several.
My current "project" is a T43p, 14". It had a dim screen and I tried swapping a backlight in, but the project didn't exactly go swimmingly. Well, now I need a screen. I've read some Dell SXGA screens will work, but also read they won't, and Thinkpads have features which Dells do not.
Let me know what you need from my machine to tell which screen I need; I can get the specs from the sticker, or I can take the old screen out again and get the number off that one if need be.
A whole lid would be the easiest to swap. I'm fairly sure my machine has bluetooth, but I can swap that in-- if the replacement lid isn't similiarly equipped. No rush here, I have other parts for this machine coming from another member in a week or so.
Thanks again for providing one heck of an asset for Thinkpad users!

any type of quality of the screen itself you are after? One in super bright and in pristine condition, or ??

Regardless, I have a working SXGA+ screen from a dead T43 that can be sold. It's not super bright and in pristine condition, but lots of life still in it.

Bluetooth in a T43/p is combined with the modem, under the keyboard.
Only the BT antenna itself is in the lid (white antenna wire).
