T2300E(1.66GHz)...........now T2600 (2.16 Ghz)
512MB RAM..............now 2GB (2x1GB)
60GB 5400rpm HD
15in 1024x768 LCD.......now 15" IPS FlexView SXGA+ (1400x1050) LCD
Intel 950
CDRW/DVDRW
Intel 802.11abg wireless
Modem
1Gb Ethernet
No UltraNav..............YAY...
6c Li-Ion batt
WinXP Pro............COA and recovery partition intact
65W genuine Lenovo AC adapter included
Why would I build a FlexView-equipped FrankenPad based on R60e?
Because I don't like touchpads on ThinkPads.
Because I had all the parts required and nothing better to do with them...
Anyway...it's one very clean machine with minor wear on the lid, and average shine on keyboard/palmrest area. Runs pretty fast given the age of the platform involved, very quiet, all-in-all a success in my book. Might just be an ultimate Linux box of this era.
As usual...if you require a bigger hard drive/SSD...or anything else...talk to me...it might be less expensive than you think...
