SOLD! Panasonic CF-W7 ToughBook clean/imperfect/

This was my "on the road" laptop for the past several months. ThinkPad it's not, but a 3lb well-built machine with a 5-hour battery life is pretty hard to beat...read on...
the basics:
Panasonic ToughBook CF-W7 (CF-W7BWAZZAM)
Core 2 Duo ULV U7500@1.06 Ghz
2GB RAM
60GB/5400rpm SATA HDD
12" XGA (1024x768) LCD
Intel X3100 integrated graphics
DVD RW.....................please read below
Intel 4965 AG wireless
Bluetooth, Modem, LAN
WWAN upgradeable (I believe so, haven't tested this option)
3 USB 2.0 ports
SD card reader
Security Chip (TPM)
Touchpad
U.S. English keyboard
Win Vista Business loaded and activated with COA
Original Panasonic battery (about 14% wear per NHC, good for 4+ hours with wireless on)
Original Panasonic AC adapter
3.1 lbs with battery inserted
known imperfections:
- Media drive is defective. It reads certain disks, but does not react to majority of them. This may or may not be fixable, I don't have the time or the patience to troubleshoot the issue at hand, hence the heavily discounted price.
- One trackpoint-size pressure mark on an otherwise exceptionally bright and clean LCD
- Some wear and scratches, mostly on the bottom.
This is the second and final revision of CF-W7 hence the laptop in question DOES have the fan unlike prior models which had utilized passive cooling only. It is also a genuine U.S. market unit so all the drivers and applications can be found on Panasonic's website here:
http://www.panasonic.com/business/tough ... aqs-W7.asp
I haven't ran XP on it, so I can't say much about the driver resources for it, but both Vista and W7 are well-supported. The Vista drivers are applicable for most W7 situations - pretty much the same way it works on ThinkPads. And this little machine runs Linux like a charm.
PM or email me directly to tataslonATaol.com with any questions/concerns.
