I have a upgraded LCD T500 available. I replaced the LED lit WXGA LCD with the proper inverter and CCFL WUXGA LCD. The upgrade parts are direct from Lenovo.

Windows Vista Business is installed with all updates as of today. COA is hardly readable.

Wow! That's a lot of computer for the $$$! With 8GB of RAM (which costs a scant $40 at my local computer shop...), this generation of machine is still perfectly capable today. Well built and a quality item, I'd much rather have one of these than some crappy new $400 Acer from Best Buy.

I'll echo this sentiment. A great deal on a very still capable machine. The other benefit for us Canadian is that it comes with the US keyboard without the goofy bilingual shift keys.

8 GB? All I see is 2GB?

JeffCullen was commenting that by spending as little as $40, this machine would be an extremely capable machine. I agree -- this is a lot of computer for the $$

You know, I've never actually seen a ThinkPad with the Canadian Multilingual keyboard up here...! Mostly Toshibas. Yech.
