For IBM Lenovo Thinkpad R50, R50p, R51, R51e, R51p, R52, T40, T40p, T41, T41p, T42, T42p, T43, T43p, X40, X41, X40 Tablet, X41 Tablet Models
i bought 3 of these GENUINE new thinking they would fit in my t420s and while they almost fit, they dont totally fit so im letting them go.
i have 2x sealed brand new in box and one opened. this opened one has a small tab shaved off to try to fit in the t420s and absolutely will not affect any performance on a t40/r50 system. none of these batteries have ever been charged and all come in box with manuals.
asking $25 shipped usps first class each.

I had a similar thought as you did. Although I know these won't fit a t420 series as they have a totally different ultrabay system, but I thought they might fit a t60/61, as they both use ultrabay slim, however these have different voltages and I believe different power connectors too. Please don't try to use them on a system they aren't designed for. At best they won't work, and from there things could get worse, such as frying your laptops charging circuits, or even overcharging, resulting in much more serious damage.

both unaltered batteries sold.
the one with the shaved tab still available. i was told by a fellow member here that the tab doesnt affect the locking mechanism or anything, more of a guide rail if anything. battery is brand new.
note that to cut shipping costs i cant ship in the original box but will ship in a usps flat rate small priority box.
