We've had this T60 for nearly four years. Never failed to operate properly. Never dropped/spilled on. Always used at home. Came with XP, which we rarely use, but kept it updated. Ran PC Doctor w/o issues. Haven't used some features (fingerprint, ext monitor, bluetooth, etc). Comes with the various ThinkVantage programs.

I partitioned the HD and installed Linux Ubuntu 10.04.4 LTS. It dual boots very simply and reliably to XP or Linux. Linux is perfect for our uses: web, e-mail, movies, music, etc. Boot-time (inc wi-fi recognition) is less than one minute. If you are interested in trying Linux, this is a fine opportunity.

I am not selling a Thinkpad with any problems.

Keys and pad have a nice matte finish.
Light scratches on the top. To me, nothing important.
Top of screen has less than an inch of play.
