#1 Post by Bot13 » Sat Nov 10, 2012 8:12 pm

for a T61-7663 Win Bus, I have COA. Would D/L be an option?

I have the the factory discs, it's a set of ten and it'll take you hours to install, then when you're done you will have software and drivers from 2006/7 era that will all need to be replaced. My suggestion is you use a windows setup disc, I have them with the latest service pack integrated, and this way you can use either 32 or 64 bit version, both are supported by vista business edition, then you can install lenovo system update to get all the lenovo drivers, and have the job done in less then an hour...

Which ever option you prefer I can send you the discs, send me a PM and we can discuss it.

I know the way I do it might be weird, but it works.
I have X200 R&R Discs and X200 machine.
If I want to fresh install any other ThinkPad, then just pulling hard drive out into X200 and do install inside X200 using X200 R&R.
When done, put hard drive into other ThinkPad.
It always worked
mainly in use : X201.i5.8GB.**AFFS**.120GBVertex4.Intel6300.GOBI2000.NMD.Ultrabase.w7Pro64
other : T410s.i5.8GB.120GBVertex4.Intel6300.GOBI2000.NMD.w7Pro64
others : X60 | T43p.UXGA.sata | 600e | X300 | T61p
ex : Edge.11 | T60.UXGA.T9500
and big pile of mixed stuff...
