ThinkPad PowerPC Power Series 850 for sale

Good morning. Found a treasure in my closet and posted this laptop for sale at eBay.

It's the 6042-96D version of the ThinkPad 850 and originally sold for somewhere around $8,549 (wow).

Definitely interested but not sure where I would get the AC adapter. Any idea as to the type, part no? I am watching it on eBay.

Not sure what the part # is for the AC adapter. The plug is labeled 20V and 2.50A and has the standard 6 sided ThinkPad plug.

without looking at my 860 PPC they used the standard power supply as used on the 750/760 series.. a 4 prong 20 volt brick..
i'll have to verify that though..

@gator1 is there a hard drive in your 820..?

It is at $150+ with 5 days to go. I think it might be interesting to start a little "office pool" here on how high it will go. $1000? And worth every penny.

It's got a 810MB HDD (part # 85G0157). As best I can tell, it's the original.

That's the problem with ebay... I would guess some deadbeat bidder isn't paying
