Thanks for all your help. I really appreciate all that this great forum offers, I wish I had more to give in return.

I`m not sure if my terminology is correct, but what I need is the slide lever and spring located on the front of the X60 Tablet lower case that releases the center latch when the tablet is in the closed position. If Lenovo has an FRU number for this part I can`t find it.
Any help will be appreciated,

If it is the black plastic piece that goes both directions i have it and also the directions.
