First of all Hello to everybody and compliments for the great forum.

I would like to get a good T61 14'' moderboard with the NVS 140M chip,
produced on or after 08/2008 and in full working order.

I would like to spend 80 euros maximum on it. Do u think it's possible?

Welcome to the forum.
It IS possible, but only in your dreams!
Boards like that are like gold dust, virtually impossible to find.
And IF you do, expect to pay $200.- and more!
You also need to specify 14.1" Standard 4:3 or 14.1" Widescreen.
Give us the 7-character TYPE from the bottom of the laptop.

mmm.. I thought that the price might have been quite higher than what I'm prepared to pay...
but I didn't know exactly.

my model is 7659-12G, 14'' widescreen..

You presumably have a good-working mobo with Intel graphics and want more 'umph'.
T61 nVidia is a NoNo in my book unless produced in/after 08/08.
If you do need dedicated graphics, go for a newer machine, such as the T400/T410/T420.
Or (dare I say it) get a desktop!

yes it makes sense.

but mostly I just want to play assembling/disassembling/testing my machine

the x3100 is sufficient for most stuff, just sometimes I think that googleearth wouldn't stutter so much with a dedicated card..

If you forget about the testing, just buy any old "T61 for parts" machine, then take that apart to your heart's content and reassemble it so often that you can do it with your eyes closed.
You'd be a proper afficionado!

PS: Ah, what I wouldn't give for a jar of gbejniet!

@Real Black Stuff : I understood your reference to the gbejniet only now! : -) (not a big cheese lover myself) when have you been to Malta?

My wife and I spent some holidays on Malta (Mellieha and St. Julien) a few years ago.
Our visits to Victoria (and other places) on Gozo produced a real liking for gbejniet (goat's cheese in brine).
Washing them down with Maltese red wine was an absolute pleasure!
