I'm offering a very nice T61 for sale. It has Middleton BIOS flashed to enable full potential of the machine. It is a very good candidate for Frankenpad conversion or to use as is.

Here's the specs:

T7700 (2.4GHz/4MB/800) CPU -> Dual-IDA enabled -> 2.6 GHz (= pretty much T9500 speed)! Also accepts Penryn CPU's thanks to modified BIOS.
2GB RAM
160GB 5400rpm HD -> full SATAII speeds available
14.1in 1400x1050 SXGA+LCD (good condition, bright, uniform backlight, no dead/stuck pixels)
Intel X3100 graphics (no worries of failure and makes a very cool and quiet laptop)
DVD Multiburner
Intel wireless (Intel 4965AGN now but whitelists are cleared and one could put any wireless LAN/WAN card he/she likes in it)
Bluetooth, Modem
1Gb Ethernet
UltraNav
Secure chip
Fingerprint reader
9c Li-Ion (in GREEN)
WinVista Business 32
90W AC adapter

Machine looks nice, there is very little wear on the lid, palmrest and keyboard have very little shine.

I am asking $250+shipping (~$40 to US/Canada, $25 to Europe, registered parcel with tracking) for this nice machine.

EDIT: Price lowered.

I can swap the CPU to Core 2 Duo T8100 2.1/3M/800 CPU if the buyer likes that way, it is a bit slower than T7700 but much cooler running CPU making the T61 100% silent for most of the time.

I'm interested in your T61. Do you have a dock (ThinkPad Advanced Mini Dock) with it? Could you put Windows 7 Pro or Windows XP Pro on it instead of Vista?

I'm pulling this machine from sale at the moment as there has been little interest and I'm intending to put together another Frankenpad for myself after selling (or giving?) my previous one.
