I am not using this battery so putting it on sale for $65.00 delivered in US (ground only)

With these readings it is showing 2:58 Hrs remaining.
I had not used it for at least 6 months and it holds charge as stated above.

Will that fit a Z61p?

If you don't mind me answering your question, the 15.4" Z61 models including your Z61p used a unique battery that was contoured on the back to match the shape of the laptop but the batteries for T60/61/500 series use the same connector and will fit, and considering this is an extended battery that sticks out the back, the fact that it's not contoured to fit the Z61 is a non-issue, so the answer is yes, it will work. When installed it won't look much different then any extended battery, but close inspection will show that curved back of the laptop is mated with a flat overhang on the battery, but again this is really a non-issue and your chances of finding a good original z61p battery that holds more then a marginal charge are virtually nil, so everyone uses these batteries.

Thanks for the answer. My battery which wasnt worth much suddenly has
an error and is useless so I need to get another one way or another this week.

I did get a battery from a T60 -42T4504- to work although I had to shave off a
very small lip of plastic from one end. This is a 6 cell battery and you are correct
it is square along the back edge and doesnt quite fit the profile of the laptop but
doesnt matter. This battery is almost as bad so I am still
in the market for another.

The 9cell batteries don't require any modification to work in the z61p like the 6 cell does and I'd be glad to get you one, but out of respect for Kevin I'm going to wait and see if his is still available.

If his isn't available (which it may not be since it's been some time), then feel free to send me a PM and I can get you one within a day or so. I currently do have a couple, but the last one with panasonic cells was just sold to a member last week. I have a couple with sanyo cells and can get the panasnic within a day or so.
