FS: Like New R400 base or high end fully loaded TPS 11/9/13

The R series are sometimes the forgotten ThinkPad. I was skeptical too until I tried one. Very similar to a T400. Slightly thicker. For example the R400 takes a 12.7mm optical drive known as Serial Ultrabay Enhanced. The T400 takes the slimmer 9.5mm known as the Serial Ultrabay Slim.
The really good part is this warranty below which expires on 2013-11-09. So you have a bumper to bumper warranty for another 9 months.

This product has a four year limited warranty which includes a ThinkPlus warranty upgrade. This product is entitled to parts and labor and is entitled to IBM EZServ. This machine is also entitled to the Thinkpad Protection Service. Customers may call the PC HelpCenter for more information.
