This ThinkPad Mini Dock Series 3 was sold to me sans AC adapter, as part of a W520 system purchase. However, without the 135W adapter, it will not power a W520, and being a 4337, it will not take a 170W adapter and since the seller would not make good on this, I have to put it up for adoption, so I can obtain the correct dock/adapter.

Used but excellent condition with two keys, $49 shipped to USA, or best offer from a good home.

Dock will work with either a 90W (most models) or 135W (QC), depending on which Thinkpad you have. See details below.

ThinkPad T400s, T410, T410i, T410s, T410si, T420, T420i, T420s, T420si, T510, T510i All w/90W or 135W AC
ThinkPad T520, T520i Dual Core Models w/90W or w/135W AC
ThinkPad X220 All w/90W or 135W AC

Note: Will also work with Thinkpads requiring 135W/170W power supplies (e.g., Quad Core) if you use the 135W power supply with this unit. E.g., W510, W520. The 170W adapter is not physically compatible with this unit unless you take an X-Acto to the power tip (YMMV).

This ThinkPad Mini Dock Series 3 is compatible with the following power adapters:
- Thinkpad 90W AC Power Adapter
- Lenovo 90W Ultraslim AC/DC Combo Adapter
- ThinkPad 135W AC Power Adapter

I have not tested with a 65W adapter but may work as well. However, you can get 90W adapters pretty cheap these days, for maybe ten bucks.

I have a t420, x220 and x230 will this work with all of them? I have a brand new in box ultrabase 3 which I assumed would fit the newly acquired t420. Now I find out it will only work with the x220 and 230.

I cannot say if it will work with the X230, I don't have access to one to try it. Lenovo does list the T420 and X220.
