I have to sell this baby, it is one hot machine (but it runs cool). This is a high end fully loaded, T500 2055-B54, T9900 C2D 3.06GHz processor, 5 year onsite warranty and no-return SSD warranty (128GB SSD) drive, expires in 605 days. It has switchable graphics, 1680x1050 WSXGA+ 16:10 screen, Intel WIMAX and WIFI 5350, 4GB RAM, battery in green with 50 of 56WH. It has a Vista COA, although I have a Lenovo load of Win7 Pro running on it and it flies. Includes 2504 Dock and 90w AC adapter. It has several scratches on the lid, but otherwise excellent condition.

I have owned this machine for 12 months, it sat in the dock for 11 months, and is now sitting on a shelf, waiting for a new owner. This 16:10 screen is flawless and driven by switchable graphics.

The T9900 processor is worth over $100 itself. This T500 is a rare item, with 16:10 screen and the fastest processor you could obtain, onsite warranty with no-return SSD. Price complete is $459 shipped USA with Vista COA, $479 with Win 7 Pro installed/key.

Someone buy this computer! This is the last and best of the final real Thinkpads. If I could wind back the clock, I'd get a T500 over my W500 as the FireGL drivers suck.

You might think this is a picture of a tablet; it's a picture of the T500 screen showing a PowerPoint slide, with a picture of a tablet on the slide. Pulled this up to take a photo to show off the screen, I almost cried; but I have to sell.

Well, we decided not to buy it. It's a great computer, and it would make a fine machine for anybody looking for a terrific value in a Thinkpad. But my wife's pregnant, and she's got me on a strict budget, so I had to let it pass...painfully. So somebody jump on this machine while it's still available. Mike's a good guy, and will treat you right. Do it!

Hey Bert, thanks anyway for looking, and congrats to you and your wife! And keep in mind, both my boys grew up on Thinkpads. Yours should too.

I will consider a sale without SSD, dock, AC adapter. The machine comes with a Vista COA, with options to include Win 7 key and Win 7 Lenovo Disks.
