withdrawn: top-loaded Z61m Titanium from my signature

This one will likely become redundant within the next two weeks, looking to see whether it will generate any serious interest around here...
the basics:
ThinkPad Z61m (9450-38U)
T2300E(1.66GHz)..........................now T7200 (Core 2 Duo 2.0 GHz, 4MB L2 cache)
1GB RAM.....................................now 3GB
100GB 5400rpm HD........................NONE (cover is included)
15.4in 1680x1050 LCD
128MB ATI Radeon X1400
CDRW/DVDRW
Intel 802.11abg wireless
Verizon WWAN
Bluetooth/Modem
1Gb Ether
UltraNav
Sec Chip
IEEE 1394
FPR
Camera
6c Li-Ion batt..............................Panasonic, in "green"
WinXP Pro............COA intact
90W genuine Lenovo AC adapter and 2504 Mini Dock included
known imperfections:
- There is wear to clear coat of the lacquer on the Titanium lid, extremely common on these machines. It's not bad (I've seen a lot worse) but it's there and noticeable
- A crack on the bottom plastic portion of the case, likely from someone attempting to shove a T6x 6-cell battery in. Not affecting the structural stiffness of the unit, but visible.
- Normal wear/shine on the keyboard/palmrest.
Apart from the imperfections noted above, this is one fabulous machine and it will be missed dearly, but we're in the process of moving to some non-ThinkPad hardware and really need only one worsktation-size unit in this household. The screen (LG Philips) is very bright and clear with no imperfections, and this rare bird runs like a deer. We've had the 32-bit version of Windows 7 Pro on it and it never broke a sweat during adult use. Seriously.
Given the excellent service that was provided to us by this unit over the past year, I want it going to the best home imaginable and "first come first served" may or may not apply for this particular sale. A lot will depend on who the buyer is and how well do I know him/her.
PM or email me directly to tataslonATaol.com with any questions/concerns.
