Feeler: T520
I'd just like to see if there would be any interest in my T520. I'm not 100% sure if I want to sell, as I vowed never to sell this thing but with Haswell around the corner and a bunch of new technology coming out nowadays (ie Windows 8 touch screen), I think I may like to swap it up a bit and get some non-Thinkpad hardware.
Specs:
T520 - 4239CTO
- Core i7 2760 quad core CPU
- nVidia graphics (I believe the chip is a NVS4200)
- 8GB of Ram (upgraded from 4)
- 240 GB Intel 520 series SSD @96% health according to SSD Life
- Intel 6300 Wifi
- Bluetooth
- CD/DVD optical drive with burner
- FHD 1920x1080 LCD, no dead pixels
- FPR
- All restore discs included (I burned them the day I got the machine), Windows 7 Pro, with license sticker on the bottom
- Condition is GOOD - shine on keyboard evident, lid is showing wear on the corners, but no major scratches/cracks/dents
- No warranty, 16 months old
- 100% fully working condition, never had a problem. It's been a solid machine
- 6 cell AND 9 cell original Lenovo batteries included, both in GREEN condition with the 9 cell at <10 cycles (and has the coveted Panasonic cells)
- (2) Docking stations (mini dock series 3 I believe is the name)
- (3) 135W power adapters, all original Lenovo
I'd like to net $700 for everything listed above so I'd start by asking $700 + ship + PP fees. However, because I hate using Paypal I will offer a 10% discount for any other payment method (preferably postal money order). I will be shipping from Detroit so shipping won't be outrageous. If you think this is unreasonable tell me what IS reasonable. Thanks!

Unreasonable? That's a fantastic price for a machine of that spec and the accessories included with it. Unfortunately my new Thinkpad budget is shot.
To anyone contemplating this, Canadiandude is a fantastic seller. I've bought a few items from him and can highly recommend him.

Good price, since you have a 240 gig Intel SSD and lots of accessories.
Current ThinkPad: T430u, T430s, X1 Carbon, X1, X230t, X220t, X230, X220, X201t, W520, W701ds, T500, T420 and many more

Hello -
I would buy this, if you decide to sell it. I can do postal money order. I hate paypal too. USPS money orders are the best because you can CASH THEM at the PO just before you hand them your computer. Nothing feels better than cash in your hands, FWIW. Actually, I have had a need to get a Sandy Bridge system, so this could be good timing. I'm in Cleveland (44129), so shipping should not be that much.
Do you have any pictures? You could put them up on fickr or something (or email me) if you don't yet want to share them with everyone.
Let me know.
