CLOSED:mint US built R60, barebone,

#1 Post by ajkula66 » Wed May 15, 2013 10:07 pm

I've got several of these machines which are in absolutely stunning condition, looking - for the most part - like they"ve NEVER been used. Plastics and screen are outright spotless, with or without a couple of light scratches on the lid, some of which could likely be buffed out.

While I know it sounds rather unbelievable, the worst of them is 9 out of 10 on a 1-1- scale, and the best one is probably 9.8...here's one of them:

All of them were "assembled in the U.S. from U.S. and non-U.S. components for Lenovo".

The actual models will vary, but they all share these specs:

T2500(2GHz), 1GB RAM, 14.1in 1400x1050 LCD, Intel 950, CDRW/DVDRW, 802.11abg wireless, Modem, 1Gb Ethernet, UltraNav, Secure chip, IEEE 1394, WinXP Pro COA.

I am offering them in the barebone form, with NO hard disk, battery or AC adapter. All of these components are available at extra cost.

I'm asking $55 per unit plus shipping cost and am willing to ship these almost anywhere.

PM or email me directly to tataslonATaol.com with any questions/concerns.

No idea and no means of testing, so presume it can't...

the graphics card on the R60 won't drive dual link dvi resolutions (i.e. 2560x1600). The only one that can do this from those era is the T60p with the ATI FireGL Pro graphics card.
Current ThinkPad: T430u, T430s, X1 Carbon, X1, X230t, X220t, X230, X220, X201t, W520, W701ds, T500, T420 and many more

Very nice George...excellent price. My family has been using a R60 for 3 years plus and still runs great...

Good luck,

Ron

Thanks, Ron.

These are fabulously reliable little machines in truly outstanding condition. I've sold several through various channels and haven't heard a bad word about them yet.

For those interested in fully configured system, I can offer all the parts required, install XP from the original restore disks etc. etc.

A complete working system with a good Panasonic battery, genuine Lenovo AC adapter and hard drive would be just above $100...
