I am looking to purchase the internal stylus mechanism that holds the stylus in place. I know that these aren't available separately (generally only sold as part of the bottom base), but I thought someone might have a spare that they don't need. Please let me know if you have one.

Is it x60 or x61? They are similar, but they attach to the base differently

It is for an X61.

they should be the same.   i've used the exact same pen holder FRU in the X60T, X61T, X200T, and X220T.

look for FRU 45N3146 as this is the latest design revision that's far less prone to breaking like the earlier ones.   you actually don't want one from an X60T/X61T as they're more prone to breaking at the core.

plus, unlike the other models, this number is sold as a discreet part rather than part of the base or misc parts kits.   the FRU is from an X200T and is currently sitting in both of my X60T and X61T systems.   so, i know with certainty that it works.
