Ebay like sites from US or EU

#1 Post by alitahriki » Sun Jun 09, 2013 9:15 am

hello guys
im from turkey and unfortunately thinkpads are not popular in here.
im looking for an 400$-600$ thinkpad nowadays but the thinkpads on ebay are expensive, i saw many other cheap options on lot of forums

is there alternative websites to ebay? which we dont know yet ?
i will use borderlinx for shipping so international shipping is not a problem for me

If you speak German and/or French, you could try Ricardo in Switzerland.

Another good Swiss site (also in English): http://www.toppreise.ch/index.php
You'd probably have to ask seller first if s/he can ship to Turkey, I guess.

Also, you can PM me with your wish(es), I have several Thinkpads for sale and am willing to ship to Turkey.

@realblackstuff i have an t61 (t7300 cpu, intel graphics, 14.1") and i have problems about my mainboard and i think she will die in couple months

im looking for an 400-600$ thinkpad, with at least i5 cpu and it must be upgreadeable in the future.
i will use it for mostly development (netbeans, phpstorm etc) so graphics is not a big deal for me.
actually i want a t61 with quad core cpu and nvidia gpu (because t61's are so tough) but i couldnt find one.
what thinkpads you have on sale ?

There were no T61 machines with quad core CPUs, that's why you couldn't find one...

No.

These boards will handle a X9000 but not a Q9000 or the like. BIOS doesn't recognize a quad core and the machine won't boot with such a CPU.

No ifs, ands or buts. That's the way it is.
