ThinkPad x200s with 1440x900 display (7469-5GU) SOLD!

I am putting my trusty ThinkPad x200s up for sale as I have been tempted by these new touchscreen Windows 8 computers.

The machine type is 7469-5GU. The following are the specs from Lenovo with my upgrades in bold:

SL9400(1.86GHz), 2GB RAM Upgraded to 4GB of RAM, 160GB 5400rpm HD Upgraded to 320GB 7200rpm HD, 12.1in 1440x900 LCD, Intel 4500MHD, Intel 802.11agn wireless, Bluetooth, Modem, 1Gb Ethernet, Secure chip, Fingerprint reader, 6c Li-Ion, WinVista Business 32 Windows 8 Pro upgrade DVD included

It does have the 1440x900 Wide XGA+ display which I much prefer to the lower res 1280x768. The computer currently has been restored to the factory WinVista Business hard drive image, but I am including a retail copy of the Windows 8 Pro upgrade DVD along with the CD key.

The computer is in good shape, with some shine on the keyboard, some marks on the lid, and some corner wear as is common with these Thinkpads. The fan is also a little bit noiser than it was when new.

I am asking $300 shipped to any location within the lower 48 states. Feel free to request quotes for other locations.

I'm looking for a smaller laptop with a very sharp screen to help with my vision. I'm currently using a X60t for this purpose. How is your screen's sharpness and clarity?

It's pretty good, though it's a typical Thinkpad monitor, so it's not as good as some of their newer IPS screens. I think the higher resolution does help the sharpness and clarity, however.

Is there any picture I can take that would help you decide if it's got the sharpness and clarity you are looking for?
