All good things must come to an end. My summer break is just about over and it will be time to ‘hit the books’ once again. My original plan was to keep this T400 stashed away in case of an emergency however I could really use the money for school-related expenses.
The T400 has been mainly deskbound (on a dock) and has gone out just a handful of times. I refurbished the T400 from a very barebones condition to a nice and workable unit. My T400 is clean, overall body is very good w/only the seemingly unavoidable light scratches on the lid, slight shine on keys from normal use, thinklight is functional, the LCD is unscathed, and the fan is very quiet. The only time I am able to hear the fan is if I play a game and even then it is not very loud. Games I have played on this T400 include Left 4 Dead 2, Mass Effect, Portal, Mirrors Edge, and Limbo. They all ran fine and most of the time I had it hooked up to a 1920X1080 monitor. The games downscaled of course but they ran at around 1280X800 for a gaming resolution with playable frames. Do keep in mind that the T400 were introduced 5 years ago.

The T400 configuration is as follows:
T400 (2768-12U)
2.53 Ghz T9400 Core2Duo
1400X900 WXGA+ CCFL (LG screen)
2gb DDR3 RAM (expandable to 8gb)
ATI 3470HD 256mb VRAM/Intel X4500MHD switchable graphics
Bluetooth | Fingerprint reader | (3) USB ports | (1) Firewire | SD card slot | (1) express card slot
DVDRW/CDRW multidrive
6-cell replacement battery from ebay (46.68/47.52 charge capacity | cycle count 58 | identifier: Sanyo)
No Hard drive or AC adapter (needed them for the T500 in my sig)
Note: Missing one keyboard screw. You can find these on fleabay or ask here at the forum. I just never got around to replacing it. Keyboard feels fine without it but minor cases of OCD might factor into the equation
I wish to sell the T400 for $150 + $20 for shipping (insurance, tracking information, and shipping supplies). You would need to buy or provide your own hard drive (with OS) and a 90-watt/20 volt ThinkPad adapter to have a running T400.
Shipping would be done upon receipt of funds via Paypal.
Thanks for looking!
