SOLD: my personal X60T, rare SXGA+/Core 2 Duo combo,

#1 Post by ajkula66 » Sat Sep 21, 2013 11:42 am

the basics:

ThinkPad X60 Tablet (6363-C7U)

L7400(1.5GHz)
1GB RAM................now 3GB
80GB 5400rpm HD..........now 80GB/7200rpm
12.1in 1400x1050 LCD
Intel 950
Intel 802.11abg wireless.....now Apple/Atheros abgn
Bluetooth, Modem, 1Gb Ethernet
Secure chip
Fingerprint reader
8c Li-Ion...............in "green", low cycles
WinXP Tablet 2005 COA
UltraBase with CD-RW/DVD combo included
90W genuine Lenovo AC adapter included
Modded BIOS
No stylus

A very nice example of a top-shelf (only the WWAN option is missing) high-resolution X60 tablet which was my "on the go" machine for the past several months. This convertible also sports a Core 2 Duo CPU which is a very rare find.

If you know anything about X6* generation of tablets, the fact that the first generation SXGA+ screens *never* develop bubbles and don't have grainy reflections/texture of the later ones is something you're familiar with.

There is one stuck (red) pixel visible only on black backgrounds. Light wear on the lid. Apart from those imperfections, the machine is in stunning condition for its vintage.

I'm currently running Cent OS on it and do not have a set of XP Tablet disks to load the original OS as per COA. If you'd like Vista, W7 or W8 loaded, I'll be happy to do so if you provide a valid COA. The laptop can come with a blank hard drive if so desired, or with none in which case I'll ship it for free within U.S.

For those interested in tinkering/FrankenPadding/customizing: I'm in possession of a barebone X61T (7769-A67) with a SXGA+ LCD which has developed some bubbles as well as wear areas (from stylus) in the anti-glare coat. Apart from that, the unit is 101% functional, has Middleton's BIOS already installed and runs like a deer. If you're interested in a combo deal, talk to me... :D

PM or email me directly to tataslonATaol.com with any questions/concerns.
