known imperfections:

- some wear on clear coat of the Titanium lid, common for these units
- a small crack in the base plastic on the bottom of the laptop, affects nothing but it's there
- normal wear/shine on the keyboard/palmrest area

Time to retire this fine machine that was my wife's desktop replacement for almost two years. As sad as I'll be to see it go, it deserves a better fate than sitting on a shelf and collecting dust after impeccable service it has provided to our family.

You'll have to look *very* hard to find a better-spec'd Z61m in Titanium guise. While cosmetically imperfect, this classic ThinkPad - one of Lenovo's finer moments IMO - is one sturdy and reliable workhorse. Load the OS of your choice - W7 would be my recommendation since it runs beautifully on this unit - and enjoy.

That's a fine machine! And those Ti lids are unique (although a little delicate). Sad to see it leave your home...

I'm happy to announce that by sheer kindness of a fellow forum member a NOS unused plastic base can now be included with this laptop if one so desires.

Free of charge within U.S. Will probably fit in a package just fine if the machine is travelling abroad as well.

I'll supply it and you'll install it. It's really that simple.

Also, I'm now including a 320GB/7200rpm HDD, genuine Lenovo 90W AC adapter and a 2503 Mini Dock for the same - very low IMO - price.

Need this gone and to a good home.
